Designed by HH Designers, Salt features a modern industrial aesthetic that balances sophistication and comfort. Combined with warm hospitality and exceptional cuisine, it creates a dining experience centered around premium dry-aged steaks, handcrafted sushi, wood-fired pizza, signature flatbreads, craft cocktails, and memorable moments shared around the table.

Restaurateur David Mizrahi is the driving force behind several successful hospitality brands, including LBK Grill, Pepe Italian Kitchen, Bubbie’s Cafe, and other acclaimed dining concepts along the Jersey Shore.

 

A former volunteer firefighter, David resides in Long Branch, New Jersey, with his wife, Chavi, and their three sons.

 

David began his culinary journey with the opening of Eat A Pita on Clifton Avenue in Lakewood, a kosher Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of the city’s vibrant downtown district. The restaurant quickly gained a loyal following by offering authentic Middle Eastern cuisine made with high-quality ingredients in a welcoming, casual atmosphere.

 

Building on that success, David launched Revolve Restaurant & Catering, a boutique dining and catering concept housed in a meticulously restored 18th-century building that had sat vacant and deteriorating for more than three decades. The project showcased his passion for both hospitality and revitalization, creating a unique destination for upscale dining and special events.

In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, David opened LBK Grill, a seasonal boardwalk eatery located adjacent to the Wave Resort in Long Branch. Despite the challenges of the time, LBK Grill quickly became one of the region’s most popular seasonal dining destinations, attracting guests from across the tri-state area and earning widespread recognition.

 

In 2021, David partnered with longtime friend and Executive Chef “Big Boy” Pinchas Frank to launch Salt Steakhouse, a collaboration that helped redefine upscale kosher dining at the Jersey Shore. The restaurant’s success established the foundation for continued growth and innovation within the hospitality group.

 

Continuing that momentum, the team opened Pepe Italian Kitchen in 2024, a modern Italian eatery featuring Neapolitan pizza, house-made pasta, seasonal salads, fresh seafood, and elevated Italian classics in a stylish setting.

 

Recognizing the need for a breakfast and café experience for resort guests and local residents alike, David launched Bubbie’s Cafe in 2024. Conveniently located in the lobby of the Wave Resort adjacent to Salt Steakhouse, the café quickly became a favorite destination for breakfast, coffee, and grab-and-go offerings.

 

Today, David continues to expand and elevate his hospitality portfolio, driven by a commitment to exceptional food, outstanding service, and memorable guest experiences. Through innovation, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, he remains dedicated to creating destinations that bring people together and enrich the kosher dining scene

Pinchas Frank was raised in Elenville NY, He had the love for food & passion for cooking at a very young age.

​

Frank, a graduated Jerusalem school of Culinary arts known today as the Top top kosher culinary institute worldwide.

 

Frank than landed with the position of the “Prep-chef” at the famed Solo restaurant in NYC. His passion and enthusiasm drove him to try it all, Chef Frank practiced his supernatural skills at many famed NYC area restaurants hot spots where he witnessed, tasted and mastered many techniques of different cuisines form around the world.

​

Frank spent 8 years as the executive chef at the prominent Entree Restaurant in NJ . During that course of time he continued to fuse together ingredients creating the upmost quality dishes.
